Description

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assigned state and federal regulatory documentation and required submissions. 
  • Manage filing system and permanent files including policies, rules and regulations and administrative policies.
  • Manage contracts and contracted services as directed.
  • Serves as a resource for general administrative questions. 
  • Manage office workspace, including 3rd party vendors 
  • Coordinate staff meetings for administrative and clinical staff 
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings and conference 
  • Maintains positive relationships with providers and professionals by ensuring all information is communicated in a timely fashion 
  • Implement, administer, and evaluate human resources programs. 
  • Oversee full cycle talent acquisition and hiring including fostering productive community and university partnerships.
  • Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding 
  • Lead benefit enrollment activities and selection of competitive benefit plans.
  • Responsible personnel files and ensures employees’ credentials are up to date.
  • Participating in various risk management and corporate compliance activities.
  • Develop systems, processes and implementation programs for use within departments to assist in efficient management of the human resources workflow. 
  • Provide advice and counsel to management and other employee groups related to compliance with and the communication, interpretation, and implementation of human resources policies and other relevant employment laws and regulations. 
  • Assist in solving human resources problems and monitoring implementation of agreed upon actions until the problem has been resolved. 
  • Assist in the analysis of indicators such as, but not limited to, surveys, turnover and grievances, and present recommendations for corrective action when needed. 
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge in the assigned specialized human resources areas. 
  • Provide training to managers and others on human resources processes and policies. 
  • Lead compliance with labor law and reporting requirements, including EEO, ADA, DOL, workers' compensation, DFEH, OSHA and Joint Commission. 
  • Oversee payroll processing for all salaried and hourly employees, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration with emphasis in Human Resources preferred
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources and Office Management.
  • Active SHRM-CP or PHR Certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive hand movement use and view PC. 
  • Sits or stand for long period of time, reach, bend, climb, stoop, and lift up to 25lb.
